I looked in every forum I could find but couldn't locate a precise solution. I'm new to Tableau and need to do a task that I assumed would be simple but can't seem to figure out.
I'm trying to make a graph with numerous lines drawn on it. I have timestamps in seconds in one column (decimal). I have four columns connected with each timestamp value (Temperature, Pressure, Humidity, and Voltage), and I need to see how they progress over time. The data in Excel looks like this (I simplified it for the sake of visualisation):
In Excel, it takes me less than seconds to obtain a chart that looks like this:
How can I make a Tableau version of the same chart? I'd want someone to explain how each column should be structured, whether the data must be a dimension or a measure, the data type for each (string, integer, etc. ), and the graphic steps to take. I'd do it in Excel, but the file is about 1 million rows long, and Excel keeps crashing.
