Only the GUI version of the GlobalProtect client may be used with Linux computers since the GlobalProtect installation requires multi-factor authentication (MFA). For the GUI version, the following Linux versions are supported:
Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS
Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS
Ubuntu 19.04
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 - 7.7
CentOS 7.0 - 7.7
TERPWare provides the relevant file for your Linux system.
Install GlobalProtect from the place where you obtained the aforementioned file in your device's console. Note that depending on your Linux version, the instructions may differ.
Ubuntu/Debian CLI commands:
\s sudo apt-get install libqt5webkit5
\s sudo dpkg -i GlobalProtect UI deb-5.2.6.0-18.deb
Enter access.umd.edu when prompted for a portal address.
GlobalProtect will display in your menu bar at the top of your Linux system after the installation is complete.
