AttributeError type object numpy ndarray has no attribute array function

Hi Guys,

I installed numpy module in my system. But when I tried to import this module in python prompt, I got this error.

    AttributeError: type object 'numpy.ndarray' has no attribute '__array_function__'

How can I solve this error?

Hi@akhtar,

I think numpy version is not compatible with python. So try to upgrade your numpy module using the below given command.

$ pip3 install --upgrade numpy
Installing collected packages: numpy
Successfully installed numpy-1.16.0
$ python3 
Python 3.5.2 (default, Apr 13 2020, 13:01:14) 
[GCC 5.4.0 20160609] on linux
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import numpy
>>>
