Is there any open source tools for RPA

Question

We want to build an rpa software

The definition of RPA: A software 'robot' is a software application that replicates the actions of a human being interacting with the user interface of a computer system.

I searched RPA open-source software several days.

Is there any open-source tools for RPA? I know some commercial software like "BluePrism", "OpenSpan", etc.

Try UiPath that is oe of the best RPA tool in market.

Not quite open source, but free nonetheless. UiPath are also a player in the RPA space, and they have a community edition for individuals/non-profits etc... http://www.uipath.com/community

You can also use Python to build your own automation apps.

There is one. TagUI. But its not as easy as drag & drop.

A few are there... UiPath (Community Edition), Sikuli (GUI automation tool) and Automation Anywhere (trail version). Although by far, I found the UIPath tool best. You can also checkout this youtube video for learning more about UiPath...

TagUi is an open source RPA tool which can be used for digital process automation. But it's not very user-friendly as its a Command-line tool and requires a lot of programming knowledge. So it can only be used by programmers. Anyone from non-IT domain cannot use it to automate UI interactions.

Robot Framework is great open source RPA Tool with lots of library and robust tools.

we are using robot framework for IOT testing with RPA.

Hey Anish, thank you for sharing your knowledge about this free RPA tool, but as I can see that this tool only supports Windows apps and in browsers only supports Chrome and IE.

Abha,
Basically Robot framework developed in Python. it's Keyword drive approach so you need to wire your business logic according to it.

It very fixable to extended your functionality in your choice tools.
