The Vice President - Sales, of a British MNC, which deals with Core Office Infrastructure needs a decision driven method to find the reason behind multiple refund requests rather than using the existing traditional approach to derive at a strategy. The data analysts decided to use Tableau 10 tool. 

The aim of the data analysts is to forecast the sales for the next year as well as the probable refunds category wise. Based on this a plan will be formulated to proactively reduce/stop the refunds.

A dashboard should be created that would contain: :

  • A list of Orders returned by the Customers from Top 10 Countries (in terms of refund).
  • Top 10 Countries mapped on the World Map that had most of the refunds.
