• listen to the misunderstanding or topic of conflict clearly
• Don't avoid or fight with the other person.
• Try to clear the misunderstanding.
• Talk to internal committee or manager if too serious.
• Offer help if any help can be provided.

There are some points you can keep it in mind:-

• Do not interrupt when someone else is speaking and try to listen first.
• Once you get the point where they are creating the mistake, politely go and make them understand the issue.
• Try not to indulge too much if they do not agree with your suggestions
• Try not to make fun with your colleague regarding this, you don't know how they are going to take it.
