Can someone explain the working of elastic fabric adapter?

EFA devices provides all the ENA device's functionalities with a new OS bypass hardware interface that allows the user-space applications to communicate directly with hardware-provided with reliable transport functionality. Many applications uses existing middleware, e.g. the Message Passing Interface, to the interface with EFA. AWS has always worked with a number of middleware providers just to ensure the support for the OS bypass is functionality of EFA.
