What is the work experience required to become a Security Auditor? Can a person with experience in non-IT field become a Security Auditor?

Work experience that most companies look for while hiring a Security Auditor is 3-5 years of experience in IT. Having experience in Auditing for 4+ years is an advantage. It is not possible for a non-IT person to get a job as a Security Auditor directly. You will have to shift to IT to get experience and then apply for Security Auditor jobs

Hey Ram, usually it takes around 3-5 yrs of experience to become a Security Auditor. But if you are from non-IT field, then you need to gain some good experience, and may be some certification in Networking and Cyber Security, to become a Security Auditor.
