What is the work experience required to become a Cryptologist

I have recently started working as a Security Analyst. I have been working for 3 months now. While I was preparing for this job, I read about Cryptography and that grabbed my interest too much. Ever since, I have been studying about it and now I feel, a Cryptologist is what I wanna be. So, I wanted to know what experience I need to become a Cryptologist?

Hi. There is no 1 answer to this question. It depends on the company that is hiring you. Some companies will expect 5+ years of experience with a relevant Masters degree. Some will expect 2-3+ years experience in the security domain. Whereas, some companies will hire you even if you don't have any experience. So, I suggest you first decide which company you want to be working for and then prepare yourself for that.
