Can we find out the bitcoin sender by their address

Is it possible to find out the sender from his/her address? Suppose I received bitcoins from an address and I dont know who sent it to em, Can I find out who sent it by the bitcoin sender address?

It is not possible to find the sender by yourself because bitcoin does not store details or IP address of sender. But if the sender uses any website or e-wallet, you can contact them to find it.
