How to merge Year Month and date in Order Date in Tableau

Question

I'm struggling to get Year, Month and Date in single column from [Order Date] in Tableau 10.

Could you help me here? I need to drill down [Order Date] to get the dates liked showed in attached Snapshot 1, But I want dates in format showed in attached Snapshot 2. Please refer to the snapshot below.

Hi, you can simply drag the Order Date pill by right clicking it and dragging it to the row/column shelf. Then in the drop-down menu that appears you can select the desired format you wish to plot in your analysis. Hope this helps.!
