Unable to create a different home directory in EC2 instance

Question

I want to create a new user for ssh with different home directory locations in ec2 instance. The user is created but unable to set a different home directory.

Any idea about it?

Hi,

If you have created a user then it will automatically create a home directory for you. Check in your /home directory. You can see one folder with your user name.
