Hi Guys,
I am trying to upload one file in my hdfs cluster, but I am getting the below error.

org.apache.hadoop.ipc.RemoteException(java.io.IOException): File /try.txt._COPYING_ could only be replicated to 0 nodes instead of minReplication (=1). There are 0 datanode(s) running and no node(s) are excluded in this operation.

Hi, I am getting the same error. I have followed all the edureka's videos to execute wordCount.jar file on a local text file. I am using Windows 10 and did the installation as explained in the videos. I am unable to resolve the error. When I do start-all.cmd. All the deamons work. When I do the put command it shows this put error with 0 datanodes and no namenodes used. I checked on to the Datanode deamon it starts but says at the end Datanode shutting down. Another thing, the localhost:8088 doesn't work for me. please help me fix the problem.
Hi@Geek,

This error means your Datanode is not in a running state. You can remove the folder that you mentioned in your Datanode. And again create the same folder. After that, restart your Datanode service.

Hi@akhtar,

This error may occur if your datanode is not in running mode. If you cluster is in standalone mode, than start your datanode service as well.

Hope this will help.

Thank You
