By default Puppet Agent request to Puppet Master after a periodic time which was known as “runinterval”.

Puppet Kick is a utility which allows you to trigger Puppet Agent from Puppet Master.

Puppet Kick existed in the earlier versions of puppet but in the later versions it is deprecated.
