In many companies such as Amazon, Microsoft etc they do have specific position for Cloud Support Associate-I which is offered to freshers. So, yes a fresher can apply for it.

Yes, freshers can apply for the job of Cloud Support Associate, they basically test your Networking skills and knowledge on OS, how good are your problem solving skills and how efficiently can you handle the problems on clients end.

Hey, 

There are companies whole actually take fresher as cloud support associate,but for this he/she should be ready with the work responsibilities:

  • First line support to customer queries. Customer facing of the tech company in this case AWS.
  • Based on the Job role, they may resolve queries by themselves. 
  • To some extent, you may have to login to an interface or backend to resolve customer issue or escalate to either your supervisor or direct report

A big yes to your question that freshers can apply as cloud support associate, but they need to know all these things listed below:-

  • Good knowledge in Java programming, Data Structure, OOPS concepts
  • Good understanding of distributed computing concepts.
  • Good understanding of OS Linux (Sys Admin concepts).
  • Good knowledge of Netwroking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI Model, DNS/DHCP etc).
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
