Are there plugins available for monitoring services using nagios

I have recently started learning Nagios and i was wondering if there are any plugins available to monitor services using nagios?

There are many plugins available for different services

  • HTTP, POP3, IMAP, FTP, SSH, DHCP
  • CPU Load, Disk Usage, Memory Usage, Current Users
  • Unix/Linux, Windows, and Netware Servers
  • Routers and Switches
If you wish to do something and a plugin does not exist, you can always create one as creating plugins are pretty simple.
Also, Nagios has a good community that has built multiple plugins for others to use.
