Error while talking to remote Oracle DB using Jenkins-CI

0 votes

I have been trying to establish connection between Oracle DB and Jenkins, also tried using the sqlplus script runner-plugin. Getting following error message:

ERROR: ORACLE_HOME directory [/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.4/db_1] does not exist!
I also added the Jenkins user to install group on remote Oracle DB server.
Can any one help me with this query?
Thanks.

Having the exact same problem. Have you found the solution?

Hi,

Did you install the DB server in your remote system? It should be installed there otherwise Jenkins will not able to run the job.

I installed Oracle XE to talk to remote DB servers, it solved the problem. Try the same.

I hope it would resolve your query.
