Azure Vnet Peering vs Vnet Integration

I'm attempting to connect an Azure web app to an IAAS VM that is in a separate VNet. Could you please explain the difference between Azure Vnet Perring and Vnet Integration? and which technique will be most effective in this situation.

Vnet Integration – Allows your app to access resources in your VNet. And it is only utilised to make outbound calls into your VNet from your app. However, it does not provide inbound private access to your app from the VNet.

Vnet Peering enables the connection of virtual networks using Azure infrastructure. It provides faster communication between virtual networks.
