Hi Team,

I have created a RedShift cluster in AWS. I want to control the cluster from the command line. Can anyone tell me how can I reboot the cluster from the command line?

Hi@akhtar,

You can reboot a cluster. with the CLI command. This action is taken as soon as possible. It results in a momentary outage to the cluster, during which the cluster status is set to rebooting. The below example reboots a cluster. By default, the output is in JSON format.

$ aws redshift reboot-cluster --cluster-identifier mycluster
