What is the difference between statehash and previousBlockhash in blockchain? Should the previousBlockhash of the current block be equal to the statehash of the previous block?

A statehash is the hash of the data inside that block.
A previousBlockhash is the hash of the header of the previous block.

No, the statehash and the previousBlockhash need not be same.
