What should you focus on when overtaking existing project

What would you focus on in the first weeks when taking over existing team and jumping into already running project?

I would take a look at the org chart and schedule 1:1 with the key stakeholders.

From there, I would have a good view of the conflicts, problems, risks, and issues.

I would then prepare a recovery plan (normally 3 months), get feedback from key stakeholders, and propose it to the sponsor.
