How Involved Should Management Be With Agile Teams

0 votes

This question comes from the notion that in the Agile framework (especially in Scrum), leaders should be relatively hands-off.

How involved should management be, aside from the obvious of helping unblock obstacles and provide opportunities and free up necessary resources?

Management's role is critical to ensure successful delivery by creating an environment that encourages teams to do their best.

You can refer to this to know more about The Scrum Team and how they work.

Beyond impediment removal and providing the necessary resources it is also about:

1. Only take on as much work at one time as teams can efficiently and effectively deliver.
2. Championing a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement
3. Committing to creating a psychologically safe organization
