How to create an IAM user in AWS

Hi Guys,

I want to create one IAM user in AWS. So that I can share my AWS account to my friend. How can I do that?

Hi@akhtar,

To create new user in AWS, you can use IAM(Identity Access Management) service. You can follow the below given steps.

  • Login to your AWS account with root user.

  • Click on IAM service.

  • Select users and click on add user option. You will get the below screen.

  • Write down your password and click on next permissions.

  • You will get policy dashboard. Select your policy and click on Next.

Now you are ready to create one user. Download your credentials and click on create user.
