Hi, Selenium IDE was initially a Firefox plugin, which was only supported by Firefox browser. But the latest version of Selenium IDE (released in August 2018) supports both Chrome and Firefox browsers. To run test cases on other browsers, you still need to use Selenium Webdriver.
