Show breakdown from click on one chart

Hi, I have data for year wise and region based details. Now i want to show breakdown for a year across different regions and show its sales, profit, etc. How to do this?

Hi Priya,

You can show the breakdown of one chart in another chart by using the dashboard.

Follow the below steps:

1. Create the main chart that you want to use to show the breakdown in sheet1.

2. Add the details and fields for the breakdown chart in sheet2 (sales, profit, etc).

3. Add both sheets in the dashboard.

4. Now give a filter action from sheet1 and target sheet as sheet2. 

5. Select the Selected field and select the field (Region) that you want to use as a filter and click ok.

6. Now Any click on sheet1 would show you breakdown in sheet2.
