Billing for Elastic IP

How does the billing system work for elastic IP? I tried searching for the billing system but didn't get any clear answer so can anyone here help me?

AWS is a pay as you use service and Elastic IP are also charged accordingly. In order to help customer use the addresses efficiently, the charge imposed on the IP addresses are hourly when these IP addresses are not attached to any running instance. For more details on AWS Elastic IP you can refer the following documentation:-
