The job role of an Azure Solution Architect comprises of the following:-

Work with the Real-time solution (kafka, azure event hub) 

Create Batch solution (azure data factory, SSIS, azure pipeline) 

Handle distributed compute solution (spark, azure stream analytics, HDInsight, EMR, databricks) 

Work for the creation of functional solution (azure logic apps, azure functions) 

Handle the distributed storage (azure data lake, redshift, sqldw, azure data lake analysis) 

Work with the NoSQL storage (azure cosmos db, mongodb, Cassandra, hbase, neo4j) 

Sometimes work for machine learning (azure ML, azure data bricks, azure cognitive services) 

Work with different languages (R, python, java, c#, powershell)
