Power BI Desktop Npgsql 3 0 3 error

Question

When I tried to connect to an AWS Postgres database that requires SSL, I received the following error. I've gotten a recent upgrade of npgsql 3.0.3 which gives me trouble connecting. Any suggestions on this?

DataSource.Error: TlsClientStream.ClientAlertException: CertificateUnknown: Server certificate was not accepted. You can fix this issue by installing the Amazon RDS public certificate on your machine.

You can follow these steps to do so.

1. Download the AWS RDS public certificate 
2. Create a .crt file from the .pem file downloaded. You can find the sample instructions right here 
3. Install the certificate (.crt file) on your machine. 
4. Connect!
