DataFormat.Error Power BI Desktop

0 votes

I'm using Power BI for analyzing Azure Search statistics. The raw data is gathered on storage account (blob) by Search traffic analytics tool. I’ve imported the date. But on applying query changes I'm getting error:

Failed to save modification to the server. Error returned ‘OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataFormat.Error] We found invalid escape sequence in JSON input.’

How do I resolve it?

As the error says “found invalid escape sequence in the json input”, check your json input. Probably its some silly typing error.

If you’re not able to find the mistake post your json file.

The invalid escape sequence is caused by unescaped backslashes () in the search terms of some queries.
