What is the NOT Operator in MySQL

Can someone tell me what is the syntax of NOT operator and  give an example?

NOT operator displays a record when the condition (s) is NOT TRUE.

Syntax:

SELECT column1, column2, ...
FROM table_name
WHERE NOT condition;
