If you get an Internship for the post of AWS Architect even that will help because during your Internship you will get a pretty good hands-on with the working of AWS and then you will knowing all the practical knowledge required to grab a good job.

Internship will also give you a certificate that will add ground to your resume.

WIth all the fresher interviewing with you, you will be having a better understanding on AWS with a pretty descent hands-on experience.
