How to learn IoT

Question

I want to learn IOT??especially raspberry pi and arduino,I have searched on the internet but since i am a computer science engineering student I have knowledge about only programming language and not about circuits and hardware,So I was not able to understand the materials provided in the internet.Can anyone please suggest some good videos or website to learn raspberry pi an arduino as a beginner?

If you learned something like C (c# c++ VB.net) then the Arduino is best for you. I also got myself a Arduino kit from Funduino. They're very good. They also provide some samples on their website.

If you learned Python then the Raspberry pi is best. You can do much with it.

For me the Arduino is more a board to Control Motors, LED's or get Sensor Values. The RPi (Raspberry pi) is more a Borad to display data or get the data on a website.
