Autostart published Application on Windows 10 IoT

0 votes
I am using Windows IoT to develop published applications on Visual Studio and push them onto my Raspberry Pi. However, I'm stuck with a problem now.
I need to autostart a published application with my Pi. How can I do so on my Raspberry Pi 2 running on Windows 10 IoT Core?
Please advice! Eagerly waiting on working answers and the variety of ways to do it. Thanks in advance!

It can be done by making changes in Pi's startup app using the startup editor on Powershell and adding the app that you want to be autostarted.

This is how to do it:

Just run the IotStartup.exe with Power shell.

Enter "IotStartup list".

Locate the app you want to autostart.

Then, type in "IotStartup add" followed by the [name of your app] enclosed in square brackets.

Now make sure to reboot after this, and your app will be added to startup.
