How to disable snapshot copy for a cluster in RedShift

Hi Team,

I have created one cluster in RedShift. I want to disable the snapshot copy for the cluster. So, no one can create a snapshot. How can I do that?

Hi@akhtar,

You can disable the automatic copying of snapshots from one region to another region for a specified cluster. The following disable-snapshot-copy example disables the automatic copy of a snapshot for the specified cluster.

$ aws redshift disable-snapshot-copy --cluster-identifier mycluster
