how do i make apache2 site point outside the folder in ubuntu

Question

In my apache2 site which is pointing to a working directory /var/www/ how do I make it point outside the folder in ubuntu?

This is the error I’m getting

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

my path /home/oven/www

in apche2 configuration file u have to add the folder

/etc/apache2/apache2.conf

then add this line

<Directory /bar/bhtl/www/> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks AllowOverride None Require all granted </Directory> you can add your path
