Manager vs Leader

Please suggest if Manager can be a Leader or a Leader is basically a Manager OR two are entirely different traits.

I am bit confused.

You can earn the role of manager, but that does not make you a leader.

You can be a leader without having the role of manager.

And you can be a manager and a leader.

People work for managers. Leaders have followers.

A manager is an assigned role, while a leader is an attribute.
