I am getting the below error, when I tried to build one job in jenkins.

Exception in thread "main" Java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded.

How can I resolve this error?

Thank You

Hi@akhtar,

First, check the space in the Server where jenkins is hosted. In jenkins normally it can hold 20 builds. More than that, jenkins would throw an error. Follow the below given steps to avoid this error.

1.Clear the old builds which are deployed way back in months.

2. Increase the build counter in jenkins.

Thank You
