Generating a new password to connect to windows instance on Google cloud

I have forgotten the password for my windows instance on GCP and as a consequence can't connect to it. I want to reset the password. How do I do this?

You can generate a new password to access your instance just like you did it for the first time you created and tried to connect to it.

The procedure is explained in this thread https://www.edureka.co/community/57338/creating-password-for-a-windows-instance-on-gcp

Hope it works!!
