Return the current working directory in R

How to return the current working directory in R? I want to add plot images,pdf's in the directory that i created a file or project.

Use below command to fetch the current working directory.

> getwd()
[1] "C:/Users/Bindhu/Documents"

Returns absolute filepath representing the current working directory of the R process.
