Error: permission denied locoalhost: chown: cannot access /usr/local/hadoop/ No such file or directory

After installation hadoop and all my files and permissions have been set accordingly. But I am getting this error above. Can someone help out with this error.

Hey,

As the error suggested that you have a permission problem, so you need to give hduser proper permission. Try this command, it should work,

sudo chown -R hduser /usr/local/hadoop/
