How to search for a word in a string in Python

I am writing a search mechanism for local data. I will take a word from user and want to know where that word is. Please tell what code I should use for this.

You can do it like this:

txt = "My name is Kumar"
x = txt.find("Kumar")
print(x)

This will print the location at which the found word starts. I have used a single variable. You can run a loop for this to check in the list
