Not able to install sublime text editor

I am trying to install sublime on Ubuntu. I use this command:

sudo snap install sublime-text

But I am getting error:

Malformed entry 1 in list file /etc/apt/sources.lits.d/sublime-text.list (Component)
The list of sources could not be read

Delete the following file:

/etc/apt/sources.lits.d/sublime-text.list

and then try to run your command
