How to display the Access Control Lists ACLs of files and directories in HDFS

Hi Team,

I have uploaded some files to HDFS. I want to display the Access Control Lists (ACLs) of files and directories. How can I do that?

Hi@akhtar,

You can see the Access Control Lists (ACLs) of files and directories. If a directory has a default ACL, then getfacl also displays the default ACL.

$ hdfs dfs -getfacl /hadoop
# file: /hadoop
# owner: ubuntu
# group: supergroup
