How to add multiple reference lines on a bar/ column graph? i want to show category vs sales that reached average of sales and 50% of total sales.

Hi,

Follow below steps:

1. Add a bar/ column chart as required.

2. Go to analytics pane and add a average line. Edit the parameters below for data labels, color, line type, etc.

3. Now under same analytics pane, add a percentage line. Edit the line properties and select the % required.

hi,

is it possible to add a referrence line and an another line that shows total value of the bars. i can do them seperately but cant do it together.

Reference Lines - You can add a reference line at a constant or computed value on the axis. Computed values can be based on a specified field. You can also include confidence intervals with a reference line.

To add a reference line:

Drag Reference Line from the Analytics pane into the view. Tableau shows the possible destinations. The range of choices varies depending on the type of item and the current view.
