How to check if object is defines in R

I'm trying to figure out the variables that are defines and the variables that aren't defined. How do I do it?

You can use the exists function for this purpose.

R> exists("somethingUnknown")
[1] FALSE
R> somethingUnknown <- 42
R> exists("somethingUnknown")
[1] TRUE
