What is a decentralized-distributed system Why Blockchain is decentralized-distributed system

According to my understanding, the distributed system includes every single node connected to every other node and lacks the existence of a single authority. Whereas, in the decentralized system, the nodes are not connected to the other nodes due to the absence of a single authority so then, how does Blockchain come under a decentralized-distributed system?

The essential understanding of what Distributed systems are is that an additional desktop is included to initiate a given task which makes it centralized. For example, when in cloud computing, the various users connect and operate with the help of a set of computers which are taken care of by a particular cloud provider. In other words, this is nothing but a peer-to-peer system setup. There is no need for a centralized resource for sharing of data from one device to another.
