Scaling Amazon EBS Volume sizes

Amazon has services like  EC2 and EBS. Is there a way to scale up and down these services?

You may use Amazon Web UI tool. And  Upgrade CLI for the same.

while doing this make sure you have a snapshot created for the EBS volume so that your data remains secure even if something goes wrong.

You can grow the storage or compress the storage, but it can't be done simply. You'll need to take a snapshot of the current block, add a new, larger block and re-attach your snapshot.
