I am getting an error while attaching the regional persistent disk to an existing instance. What's the issue?

When attaching a disk to an existing instance, you may receive an error message if the disk is already attached to another instance.

You may have to force-attach the disk to the instance by checking the Force-attach box in the Additional disks drop-down menu.

After you attach a new disk to an instance, you must format and mount the disk, so that the operating system can use the available storage space.
