How to change default rpc port in Multichain?

0 votes
I am facing port number conflict while using multichain. I want to make some JSON RPC calls to multichain and the port used for this is 8570. The problem is that I am running another service on port 8570 and I can not stop it. Is there a workaround for this?

You can use a different port. When you are running the multichain command use the rpcport option to set new port:

$ multichaind chain1 -rpcport=1234

or you can change the default port in the params.dat  file by setting the new port value to the default-rpc-port parameter.
