I was reading a blog on AWS and came across a term called NVMe Storage. Is it a kind of storage system in AWS?

NVMe thats is non-volatile memory express is basically a host controller interface and a storage protocol that is created to accelerate the data transfer between enterprise and the client systems and also solid-state drives (SSDs) over a computer's working with high-speed Peripheral Component Interconnect Express bus.
